About:
Professor Morris is a world expert in physiotherapy, allied health, rehabilitation, falls and Parkinson’s disease. She is a fellow of the Australian college of Physiotherapists. Her research has changed the methods used for the rehabilitation of people with neurological conditions as well as contributing new knowledge on falls in older people and their prevention. She also has a distinguished research career in the field of gait analysis and gait rehabilitation. She researches topics such as movement control in people with neurological conditions, reliability and validity of clinical gait analysis; quantification of therapy outcomes and the biomechanics and motor control of human movement. Professor Morris's research has been sponsored by the NHMRC and Michael J Fox Foundation. She has more than 350 publications.
