About:
Dr Horace King is a Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of the Master of Engineering courses in the College of Engineering and Science at Victoria University. He is the official university councillor for VU IEEE student chapter; a Senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a Fellow of Engineers Australia. In addition, Dr King is a principal supervisor to a number of PhD students  currently involved in projects that include: Standardisation of UHD video Transmission by DVB; The development and design of Low Power Digital Transmitter;  Enhancing performance in Wireless Fibre Networks and 21st Century Wireless System Interoperability. His research interests are in Emerging Digital Telecommunication Technologies, Architectures and Services, 3G - 4G – 5G transitions, Long Term Evolution (LTE); Mobile AdHoc Networks (MANETS); and Satellite Communications among many modern Telecommunication standards.
