About:
Professor Brian Jolly is a Professor at the University of Newcastle. He is the former Director of the Centre for Medical and Health Sciences Education at Monash University. He has expertise and interests in medical science; medical education; health science; clinical skills development; clinical teaching, assessment, research design and statistics. Brian’s current responsibilities include the development of research initiatives in health professions education, academic guidance to the Graduate Certificate in Health Professionals Education, assisting in the development of undergraduate assessment protocols and fitness to practise initiatives. He co-chaired the Ottawa Conference on Medical Education, held in Melbourne in 2008, and was an inaugural member of the team responsible for developing the International Conference on Clinical Skills. He is currently a member of the international organising committee for the next Ottawa Conference in Malaysia in 2020.
